The Perfect Day Out with The Game Fair

Starts this Friday 29th  – 31st JULY 2016

The three day festival now in its 58th year, brings together the very best of the British countryside. Hosted in the stunning grounds of Ragley Hall in Warwickshire, it promises to be a fun-filled day out for families and everyone passionate about country pursuits.

  • Fisherman’s Village caters for all angling disciplines and attracts the leading manufacturers and retail exhibitors.

 

  • The Angling Trust will be running the angling participation area in the Fishing Village with “Let’s Go Family Fishing” sessions for families to come along and try fishing in a FREE fun, safe and friendly environment with qualified coaches and volunteers on the beautiful lake.   • The world’s most recognisable face of outdoor adventure - Bear Grylls - will challenge the brave in his ultimate masterclass in self-rescue skills, delivered by his handpicked team of highly trained experts in the Bear Grylls Survival Zone.

 

  • Get active in the Kidz Zone created especially for busy children. It offers an extensive picnic and family area complete with fun challenges for the children including a nine metre climbing wall and a giant inflatable obstacle course.

 

  • TV legend Gregg Wallace will launch his Shot to Pot restaurant, which will be opened daily serving a delicious rustic menu for breakfast and lunch, keeping little and big tummies satisfied!

 

  • Children will love to let off steam at the Active Countryside Area where traditional country pursuits are given an energetic twist. There are lots of fun activities to keep both the young, and young-at-heart entertained.

 

  • For little ones there is an Activity Crèche run by highly qualified and experienced staff operating a stay and play, or full childcare facility with bouncy castles, sandpits, water pipes, face painting, arts and crafts, sports, and gaming activities.  Parents are able to stay and watch or can request longer child care leaving them free to enjoy a few child free hours while at the show.

Celebrating British field sports and country life, The Game Fair boasts a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family, including gundog handling, clay shooting, archery, fishing, falconry and ferreting.  Visitors can also enjoy a host of food, drink and shopping stalls, as well as outdoor activities such as off-road driving.
