Shark Angling Club of Great Britain

The club was established in 1953 and operate a strict policy of catch and release for all sharks. Associate membership can be obtained by providing proof you have caught and released a shark in British Waters. Full membership requires shark of qualifying length to be caught. For a Blue Shark this is 70” from tip of nose to fork of tail. Details can be found by emailing the secretary. The headquarters of the club are based in Looe. The club has around 250 plus members.
