Fishing Details

Water:

Fishing on Bristol Waterworks reservoirs. Blagdon, Chew Valley and Barrows. Competitions organised from bank and boat. Tuition offered. Full winter programme of activities including: tackle auctions, fly tying sessions, beginners and improvers casting sessions, guest speakers and quiz nights.

Species:

Rainbow and Brown Trout, fly fishing for Pike.

Permits:

Day tickets direct from Bristol Water. Club does not sell day tickets.

Charges:

£5 joining fee. Annual membership £10 full members, £5 pensioners and registered disabled, joining fee £1 juniors - annual membership fee juniors free.

Season:

End March to end of November (extension of season on banks and at Barrow Tanks).

Methods:

Fly fishing only.
