New Angling Trust Ambassador Zenia Drury-Gregorek joins the Team
Zenia’s passion for angling shines through as she explains her reasons for taking on this new role - "I'm really looking forward to working with the Angling Trust as an Ambassador. I want to spread the word about fishing as widely as possible and encourage other mum's out there like me to take up fishing and enjoy the countless benefits angling brings to families nationwide.”
Being brought up at renowned fishing holiday location Anglers Paradise, Zenia has a unique insight into the positive effects angling can have. “In today’s world, fishing is perhaps the best “digital-detox” there is - especially for our children. We need to see more kids and families out by the waterside enjoying quality time together in the fresh air and nature. Fishing is good for the mind, good for the soul and it's down to all of us to explain the benefits to others. The Angling Trust’s Get Fishing campaign organises hundreds of free events for newcomers all over the country and I can’t wait to get involved and show all those who don't fish why they should do!”
