South West Fly Fair 2025 takes place at Roadford Lake on Sunday 23 February.  Come along and have a go at Fly tying with help from experts

Food and drink available from the onsite Cafe

A fantastic day out for all the family with Tackle Stands Casting & Fly tying Demos and expert advice for Trout, Sea and Coarse Flyfishers.

Local fly fishing clubs are also in attendance and you can find out about fishing coaching and tuition.

Wimbleball Reservoir is set within the beautiful surroundings of the Exmoor national park. There are many bays and inlets to explore across the 370 acres of water, from the shallows in Bessom’s bay to the depths of Steart bay by the Dam & the picturesque tree lined Upton arm.

Little Farriers Lake, South Cerney - Gloucestershire

Little Farriers well known as ‘Farriers back Lake’ is located in the Cotswold Water Park. The lake has excess of 100 carp up to 43lbs along with scores of Tench and Rudd. The four-acre lake common with gravel pits, features clear water, rich in natural food living in the weed. There are just eight swims cut against a tree lined backdrop providing a more natural setting. The lake has a secure parking area with an approx. 400 meter walk to the lake, so we advise bringing a barrow!
