Ruby's Orchard Camp - Sheepwash Devon

Ruby’s Orchard Camp.

Ruby’s Orchard is a rural easy-camp, set on the edge of  2 acres of woodland, near the village of Sheepwash  and the River Torridge in Devon. Day tickets to fish for Salmon, Sea Trout and Brown Trout are available from the Half Moon pub in the village.

We are an off-grid exclusive-use camp. So you get the whole place to yourselves! Hazel the Bell-Tent has double floor mattress and 2 single futon chair-beds, and if you want to bring another 4 people we can add a large Vango tent, also with mattresses. Minimum stay is 2 nights.

 All lighting is solar, there’s a kitted kitchen tent, firebowl, barbecue and hammocks. We are low-impact, so have compost loos, and the novel pump-your-own camp showers.

Bring your own sleeping bags, pillows, towels and head torches, for an authentic semi-wild camping experience. Please note that because we are off-grid, you will need your own car or solar chargers for any phones etc, (or leave them behind and go really wild!)
