The River Wey in Weymouth is now open for sea trout and salmon migration every day, for the first time in a century. The Watersmeet and Glenthorne fishery on Exmoor’s River Lyn is to remain closed until the end of the 2013 season to safeguard salmon and sea trout stocks.
