Based at Haycorn Cottage in South East Cornwall, close to the Devon border I offer tuition in the art of flyfishing for beginners as well as coaching for improvers and those more experienced anglers wishing to brush up on their casting skills. I am licensed by the Angling Trust as a Game Angling Coach (CCA Level 2) and also a member of the Game Angling Instructors Association.

WHERE DO I TEACH FLY FISHING?
I offer fly fishing tuition and guiding on local lakes and rivers. During the trout season this is mostly at Siblyback Lake (SW Lakes Trust) on Bodmin Moor. A guided session on the rivers offers the opportunity to catch wild trout, seatrout or salmon but the season dates vary on each river.
WHO DO I TEACH?
I believe fly fishing can be a fun activity for all the family, from 8 – 80+. I will customise each session to suit your needs, whether you are a complete novice, want to try something new whilst on holiday or improve your casting technique. I welcome small groups of friends or family as well as individuals.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Group rates available on request. Two hour taster session starts at just £40 for one to one tuition, with half a day costing £60 or £100 for a full day. This includes the use of quality tackle. (There would be additional costs for river venues.) All pupils will need to pay for an appropriate Environment Agency licence, unless they already have one (or are exempt ). All you need to bring is a sense of humour and enthusiasm, some sensible footwear and a hat or cap and glasses for eye protection.
